Graduate - Mechanical Engineer

Reporting into Product Engineering Manager, the Graduate Mechanical Engineer will join our Engineering Department on a full-time basis at our Parts Distribution Centre in South Guildford, WA.

 

This role involves crafting certified, safe, and legally compliant Engineered Designs.

 

Roster: Monday – Friday, 8.5 hours/day (including meal break)

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Work with senior team members to create safe and compliant designs
  • Review engineering requests and consult with stakeholders to meet specifications
  • Conduct safety and risk assessments
  • Create 3D models using Inventor CAD software
  • Collaborate with Electrical Engineers on design documentation
  • Develop design verification plans and reports
  • Support various business operations with engineering expertise
  • Organise and maintain engineering records

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Recently completed Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
  • Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
  • Manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Work independently and in a team
  • Knowledge of mobile plant operations (Desired)
  • Experience with AutoCAD Electrical and Autodesk Inventor (Desired)
