Graduate - Mechanical Engineer

Reporting into Product Engineering Manager, the Graduate Mechanical Engineer will join our Engineering Department on a full-time basis at our Parts Distribution Centre in South Guildford, WA.
This role involves crafting certified, safe, and legally compliant Engineered Designs.
Roster: Monday – Friday, 8.5 hours/day (including meal break)
What You’ll Do:
- Work with senior team members to create safe and compliant designs
- Review engineering requests and consult with stakeholders to meet specifications
- Conduct safety and risk assessments
- Create 3D models using Inventor CAD software
- Collaborate with Electrical Engineers on design documentation
- Develop design verification plans and reports
- Support various business operations with engineering expertise
- Organise and maintain engineering records
Skills & Experience:
- Recently completed Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals
- Advanced computer skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
- Manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Work independently and in a team
- Knowledge of mobile plant operations (Desired)
- Experience with AutoCAD Electrical and Autodesk Inventor (Desired)
