Fleet Performance Manager - Rental UE

Reporting to the Used Equipment and Rental Business Manager, the fleet Performance Manager will join our Used Equipment & Rental Department team on a Full-Time basis at our Perth Airport branch. This role is responsible for supporting parts, service and product support sales across an existing customer base while maximising Rental fleet availability, uptime and profitability. The role acts as the SME for CatUsed, facilitates used equipment inspections, supports growth in local used equipment buy‑ins, and partners with the Account Manager – Rental to drive parts, service and market share outcomes.

What You'll Do:

  • Maximise fleet uptime and profitability by managing day-today product support, parts and service sales, and monitoring Rental and Customer Fleet performance.
  • Drive revenue and market share growth through proactive customer engagement, identifying parts, service, and used equipment opportunities, and increasing local UE buy-ins.
  • Act as technical SME for CatUsed, by leading equipment inspections, supporting fleet decisions, and delivering practical, continuous improvement recommendations.
  • Strengthen customer and internal partnerships by managing escalations, maintaining CRM accuracy, coordinating warranty and PINs, and working closely with Account Managers and Service Teams.

 

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Relevant qualification and experience – Engineering, commercial or trade background with 5+ years experience in heavy equipment, rental or product support roles.
  • Strong technical knowledge – Sound understanding of earth-moving equipment, fleet performance and whole-of-life cost management
  • Commercial and sales capability – Proven ability to identify opportunities, grow revenue and influence outcomes.
  • Clear communication and problem-solving skills – Ability to analyse data, manage stakeholders and deliver practical solutions.
