Field Service Supervisor

Reporting to the Area Manager, the Field Service Supervisor will join our team on a fulltime basis at our Perth Precinct. This role is accountable for the ownership of the complete customer care experience regarding WesTrac service, repair and general service provision queries in relation to the allocated area of service/equipment. 

The role is accountable for ensuring effective work order management and department performance to achieve WesTrac’s targets of productivity and compliance to Caterpillar, customer and WesTrac requirements.

 

Location: Perth Precinct

Roster: 9 days on 5 days off 11.5 hours a day (including meal break) 12 month FTC
 

Key responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate strong commercial, technical and customer focus by meeting budget requirements, coordinating customer needs end‑to‑end and maintaining productive stakeholder relationships.

 

Requirements for the role:

 

  • Heavy Diesel Mechanic Trade or similar discipline
  • 2+ years supervision experience in a similar position (diploma certified preferred)
  • Direct experience in heavy mobile equipment (Caterpillar preferred) maintenance and OH&S and risk assessment requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to give clear direction in high‑risk environments
  • Proven organisational capability and experience managing competing priorities in dynamic settings
  • Advanced analytical, troubleshooting and continuous‑improvement skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective stakeholder relationships and exceed customer expectations
