Field Service Supervisor

Reporting into the Area Manager Aftermarket Service, as the Field service Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing Earthmoving equipment, with occasional work involving CAT Marine & Industrial equipment. Your role will focus on leading, supporting, and coordinating a high-performing team of Field Service Technicians, ensuring customer needs are met and work is completed within agreed timeframes.

As the primary point of contact for both customers and technicians, you will play a key role in managing job scheduling, labour allocation, work scopes, pricing, and invoicing. You will also drive continuous improvement initiatives across all areas of responsibility.

 

Roster:  9 day on 5 days off (Tues – Wed) 12H

Location: Perth Branch, WA

 

What you’ll do:

Lead and mentor a team of highly skilled technicians

Maintain and develop strong customer relationships

Schedule and allocate work orders for the Field Service team

Manage rosters and approve timesheets

Plan labour effectively to meet productivity targets

Provide technical support to the Field Service team

Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring a safe work environment at all times

 

Skills and Experience:

Trade qualification as a mechanic, with experience working on CAT equipment

Strong leadership, mentoring, and people management skills

Proven problem-solving, analytical, and negotiation abilities

Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities

Advanced stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships

Highly developed communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal)

Proficiency in computer skills, including use of Microsoft Office
