Field Service Customer Coordinator

Reporting to the Area Manager - Customer Service and Logistics, the Field Service Customer Coordinator is responsible for supporting the efficient delivery of field service operations by coordinating customer enquiries, work order management, assisting Supervisor with technician scheduling and parts procurement activities.
The role acts as a central point of contact between customers, field service Supervisors and internal stakeholders, ensuring service requests are prioritised, communicated and executed efficiently.
Roster: Mon – Fri 10.5 hours per day (including unpaid meal breaks)
Location: Perth Precinct (Perth Airport, WA)
What you’ll do:
- Coordinate customer enquiries, service requests and work order activities.
- Assist Field Supervisor with schedule of field service technicians to maximise responsiveness and efficiency.
- Manage work orders from creation through to completion and invoicing.
- Source and coordinate parts to support maintenance and breakdown work.
- Provide proactive updates to customers and build strong relationships.
- Support continuous improvement, compliance and service delivery outcomes.
What you’ll need:
Education / Certificates:
- Certificate III, Certificate IV or equivalent business, administration or customer service qualification (desirable)
Experience and Knowledge:
Essential:
- Mechanical aptitude or understanding of heavy equipment components and repair processes.
- Previous experience in a customer service, service coordination or administration role.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Excel and Teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Desired:
- Cert III Mobile Plant Technology or similar trade qualifications.
- Experience within mining, construction, industrial services, heavy equipment or related industries.
- Experience coordinating mobile field service technicians.
- Knowledge of service management systems.
- Experience with parts ordering and inventory coordination.
