Perth based role reporting to the Business Unit Manager - Electrical and Electrification, the Energy Solutions Specialist will join our Power Generation team on a full-time basis. Located at our WesTrac Technology building, in the Perth Airport precinct, you’ll play a key role as a post sales solutions specialist that will work closely with stakeholders such as internal WesTrac teams, Caterpillar and EPSA to develop tailored service and support offerings from WesTrac for new and existing clients. These aftersales service offerings ensure system reliability and cost effectiveness for the client, and WesTrac’s position as the aftersales service and support provider of choice in the power generation sector.

For the successful candidate, not only will you be working in some of the most exciting and fastest growing industry sectors, Electrification and Power Generation, you will also be provided with best in industry training opportunities, along with pathways for career progression and development.

 

Roster – 5 Days Monday to Friday, 8 Hrs/Day

 

What You'll Do:

  • Identify and convert power generation, BESS, microgrid and renewable energy sales opportunities into support solutions.
  • Manage and grow strategic customer accounts through forecasting, CRM management and revenue generation activities.
  • Build strong customer and stakeholder relationships to drive business development and maximise market share.
  • Provide technical SME support, tender input and consultative solutions to help secure and retain contracts.
  • Develop and execute product support strategies while ensuring safety, operational alignment and continuous improvement.

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Advanced account management, business development and strategic sales growth capabilities.
  • Strong technical expertise in power generation, BESS, microgrids and renewable energy solutions.
  • Consultative selling skills with the ability to influence customers and recommend value-driven solutions.
  • Commercial acumen in forecasting, tender support, contract negotiation and margin management.
  • Stakeholder engagement skills, building trusted relationships across customers and internal teams.
  • Data analysis, problem-solving and continuous improvement capabilities with a strong safety focus.
