Digital Insights Analyst

Reporting into the Product and Support Supervisor, the Digital Insights Analyst will join our Digital Technology and Support team on a Full-time basis at our Perth Branch. This role involves delivering data-driven insights, analytics, and process improvements to support strategic decision-making across the business unit. You’ll identify trends, develop tools and models, and provide accurate reporting to drive performance and achieve key targets. The role also includes leading or contributing to major projects that enhance operational efficiency and business growth.
Roster: Monday – Friday, 8.5 hours/day (including meal break)
What You’ll Do:
- Design and implement dynamic reports using data from multiple sources to support various teams.
- Use data analytics to drive process improvements and support digital targets.
- Assist in enhancing systems and processes to improve digital onboarding and customer experience.
- Develop strategic financial and commercial models, including connectivity sales and subscription strategies.
- Support product initiatives to assist managers, teams, and customers.
- Collaborate with Caterpillar and internal departments on key business projects.
- Report on performance metrics such as budgets, forecasts, margin analysis, rebates, and Cat programs.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience in a comparable role in a similar sized organisation
- Proven experience in the creation of Power BI reporting
- Strong financial acumen
- Proficient with data analytics, modelling, statistics, and process mapping
- Experience in implementing process improvements and managing change
- Confident in reporting and presenting to senior management
