Construction Account Manager
Perth Precinct, WA, AU
Reporting into the Construction Business Manager, the Account Manager will join our Construction Sales team on a Full-Time basis at our Perth Branch.
In this role you will be responsible for the sales of new and used construction industry machine sales for our Metro and Major construction customers.
Roster: Monday - Friday, 8.5-hour days (including meal break)
What You’ll Do:
- Maintain successful relationships with customers to identify business needs
- Facilitate successful delivery of the product
- Maintain data to assist with accurate forecasting and opportunity identification
- Work closely with the Customer Support Manager to ensure seamless integration of services
- Act as a strategic partner to our clients to ensure our offering is aligned to their business needs and expectations
- Business case development and report writing
Skills & Experience:
- Tertiary qualification in either engineering or commercial disciplines, coupled with at least 5 years post qualification experience and a minimum of 2 years in a similar Account Manager role or Trade Certificate and 8 years industry related experience within the mining/ construction industry in a product support / technical sales role
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
- Exceptional communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain successful working relationships
- Demonstrated mine site or construction industry experience with an understanding of mining and/or construction equipment operations (desired)
- High level of initiative and problem-solving skills with the ability to follow through with required actions
