Asset Health Analyst

Reporting to the CVA & Condition Monitoring Supervisor, the Asset Health Analyst (AHA) leverages machine data to assess equipment and operational conditions, delivering insights and recommendations to improve fleet reliability and performance. Acting as a key liaison, the AHA works closely with customers to develop and refine maintenance and asset health strategies, supporting decisions on repairs, component life, operator events, and long-term planning—all aimed at enhancing fleet effectiveness and efficiency.

 

This is a 6-month contract  to cover long-service leave

 

Roster:  Mon – Fri 8.5Hours per day (including unpaid meal breaks) – 6 month contract 

Location: Perth Branch, WA

 

What you’ll do:

  • Monitor machine data to assess asset health and detect early issues
  • Provide insights to improve machine reliability and fleet performance
  • Maintain strong customer relationships through regular engagement
  • Identify sales and service opportunities from asset condition trends
  • Support strategic maintenance decisions like repair or life extension
  • Drive continuous improvement in asset health systems and processes
  • Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and risk assessments

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven background in maintenance planning, reliability analysis, or related roles within mining, construction, or heavy equipment industries
  • Strong customer relationship and stakeholder engagement experience, including influencing and communication across multiple levels
  • Practical knowledge of condition-based maintenance, oil/fluid analysis, and equipment prognostics
  • Familiarity with Caterpillar systems such as SIS, SIMSi, Foresight, and fluid analysis platforms (Desirable)
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail in interpreting machine health data
  • Confident with business systems and tools, including MS Office and Dealer Business System (DBS)
  • Experience applying continuous improvement and lean principles to technical service or equipment support functions
