Customer Coordinator

Reporting to the Newman Branch Manager, the Customer Coordinator will play a crucial support role for our supervisors. This position is key to enhancing customer satisfaction by ensuring prompt responses to inquiries and accurate invoicing. Effective communication and meeting customer expectations are at the heart of this role.
This role will be working from our South Guildford head office but will support the Newman Branch team.
Roster: Monday to Friday, 8.5 hours per day (including unpaid meal breaks)
Location: South Guildford, WA (with monthly / bi-monthly site visits)
What you’ll do:
- Enhance customer satisfaction through prompt responses and accurate invoicing
- Manage the department’s work in progress (WIP) efficiently.
- Ensure customer repair and service requirements are met within agreed timeframes and budgets
- Investigate customer needs thoroughly and propose value-driven solutions that benefit both the customer and WesTrac
- Provide proactive reporting to meet budgeted monthly sales targets.
- Manage communication across multiple stakeholders with professionalism and clarity
- Foster strong customer relationships that promote loyalty and long-term engagement
- Maintain detailed and accurate service records and documentation
- Support continuous improvement in service delivery and contribute to team success
Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrated highly developed customer service skills with an understanding as to the importance of effective Customer Management
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to successfully manage fluctuating workloads and prioritise accordingly
- Highly developed communication skills (interpersonal, written and verbal)
- Advanced stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to establish and maintain successful working relationships
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with the ability to absorb technical information quickly
- Intermediate computer literacy skills (including Microsoft Office)
- Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills to enable effective resolution of issues within the workplace and/or customer disputes
- Ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously
Desirable:
- Previous experience within a customer service role
- Trade certificate qualification
