Auto Electrician - Field Service - Newman

Reporting into Field Service Supervisor, the Field Service Auto Electrician will join our Regional Team on a FIFO or Residential basis at our Newman branch. 

 

Department Overview: Servicing the Pilbara, Newman Field Service offers comprehensive on-site CAT equipment support. With FIFO and residential roles, our adept team ensures minimal downtime, adapting to varied customer needs

 

Rosters: 

  • 9 days on, 5 off - 12.5 hours FIFO or 10.5 hours Residential
  • 12 days on, 9 off - 12.5 hours FIFO or 10.5 hours Residential 
  • 14 days on, 7 off - 12.5 hours FIFO or 10.5 hours Residential
  • 14 days on, 14 off - 12.5 hour FIFO or 10.5 hours Residential 

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Carrying out warranty and customer repairs on a range of CAT machinery
  • Carry out regular field service work based out of our Newman Branch
  • Diagnostics and fault finding
  • Interpret machine data
  • Implementation of systems upgrades

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Australian Recognised Auto Electrical Trade Qualification
  • LR license required for Field Vehicle
  • Ideally have previous Field Service or Mine site experience in a similar setting.
  • ARC/Air Conditioning licence (desired)
  • Dogging & Basic Rigging (desired)
  • Heavy equipment product knowledge - Component change out experience (desired)
