Storeperson - FIFO

Reporting into the Contract Supervisor, the Store Person will be based at a customer site in a Full-Time FIFO capacity. The Store Person will be responsible for carrying out accurate and efficient parts interpreting, picking, packing and despatch of customer parts orders with the primary objective of providing customers with the best service possible. From time to time will also be required to assist with hose manufacturing, training provided.

Our expert team is focused on delivering innovative, reliable, and efficient Caterpillar equipment to maximize productivity and ensure operational safety.

Roster: 7 days on, 7 nights on, 7 days off – 12.5 hr/day (inclusive of meal break)

What You’ll Do: 

  • General Warehousing duties
  • Picking/Packing & Processing Customer Order data
  • Repairing of minor parts and reconciliation of parts 
  • Stock checking and Inventory Control 
  • Forklift Operations
  • Hose Building 
  • Assisting customers

Skills & Experience: 

  • High Risk Work Licence – Forklift is essential 
  • WA Driver Licence – C Class (Manual Preferred)
  • Ability to work in a team and autonomously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer literacy – including MS Suite
  • Great attention to detail
  • Good manual handling techniques
  • Capable of performing duties in various weather conditions
  • Previous experience working in a similar warehouse environment or parts interpreting (Desirable)
  • Experience using Warehouse Management systems (SAP, DBS or similar) (Desirable)
