As a key member of our workshop team and reporting directly to the Workshop Supervisor, the Serviceperson will support a variety of trades on-site to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow during the servicing of our Caterpillar heavy earthmoving equipment. You’ll work collaboratively in a team-focused environment with a strong commitment to safety and high-quality service.

The Murrin Murrin branch provides top-tier machinery solutions and support that cater to the evolving needs of the mining industry. Our expert team is focused on delivering innovative, reliable, and efficient Caterpillar equipment to maximize productivity and ensure operational safety.

Location: 
Murrin Murrin - Goldfield’s region - 1 hour flight from Perth
Full camp site facilities provided.
 
Roster: 
FIFO from Perth - 7 days on, 7 nights on, 7 days off (12.5-hour shifts including 30 mins unpaid break)

What you’ll do: 
•   Assist with service and repairs of CAT machinery to client’s specifications, in the workshop 
    and in the field.
•   Daily operation of Highway Service Trucks.
•   Refuelling Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME).
•   Checking and adjusting fluid and grease levels on HME.
•   Performing quality inspections of HME.
•   Supporting and assisting trades to execute remedial and improvement work.
•   Operation of tools and equipment.
•   Report faults/defects and complete service reports using CAT inspect.
•   Maintain accurate lubricant records and machine hours of each equipment.
•   Provide support to our tradespeople through the maintenance process safely and efficiently.

Skills & Experience: 
•   Experience in refuelling dump trucks & all mine site and ancillary equipment.
•   Strong computer literacy with verbal and written communication skills.
•   Confident to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team.
•   Adhering to all safety requirements as per company and site standards.
•   Similar work exposure servicing heavy mobile equipment.

Tickets and licence:
•   Current WA Driver’s License – HR (Heavy Rigid)
•   Forklift License
