Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations,drive continuous improvement initiatives and partnering with a great customer  at the Murrin Murrin site? Reporting into the Contract Manager – Murrin Murrin, the Contract Supervisor will be responsible for leading our team of experienced technicians and upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

 

Roster:  FIFO from Perth, 8 days on, 6 days off. 12.5-hour shifts

Location: Murrin Murrin (Leonora, Western Australia)

 

What you’ll do:

  • Manage a team of experienced mobile maintenance technicians to achieve performance targets by planning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring team alignment.
  • Ensure safety and production compliance through regular inspections, audits, and infield safety leadership. Promote a safety-first culture and address any safety concerns promptly.
  • Drive continuous improvement mindset within the team to improve maintenance efficiency and equipment reliability.
  • Foster team growth through coaching, mentoring, and a commitment to excellence. Provide regular feedback, support professional development, and use performance management systems to help team members achieve their full potential
  • Oversee work order invoicing and ensure accurate cost allocation.
  • Collaborate with the customer to understand the mine plan and prioritise asset maintenance to deliver the required level of performance.  

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Trade certificate (Mechanical or Electrical) or a tertiary qualification in a business-related field
  • Significant post-qualification experience in mobile equipment and supervisory roles
  • Proven people leadership skills
  • On-site experience with workplace health and safety
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Intermediate computer literacy (MS Office, internet applications)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Team player with advanced time management skills
  • Experience with Caterpillar equipment and a project management background is highly desirable
