Reporting into the Workshop Supervisor, the Boilermaker Welder will join our Murrin Murrin team on a Full-Time permanent basis. This role is responsible for carrying out scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs to Caterpillar fleet, completion of service reports, identifying parts requirements whilst maintaining safe work practices and a safe work environment.

This is a developing role for an experienced Boilermaker to enhance their trade working within a small crew of highly professional team.

Location: Murrin Murrin (approx. an hour flight from Perth)
                Camp Accommodation with full amenities 
 
Roster:  FIFO - 7 days, 7 nights, 14 off - 12.5 hrs (inc. 30 mins unpaid break)
              Start time – 5:30am – 5:30pm

What You’ll Do: 
•     Be a dynamic team player with a high commitment to working safety.
•     Maintain and set clean and safe working environment.
•     Be the subject matter expert on boilermaker repairs for WesTrac and the customer
•     Perform preventative machine inspections and creating quality backlogs for future repairs
•     Work together with all team members to provide safe machine availability and reliability

Skills & Experience:
•     Australian Recognized Trade Qualification – Boilermaker Welder.
•     Sound knowledge of Caterpillar and other OEM machine systems
•     HRWL – DG, RB, LF & WP highly desirable.
•     Ability to work effectively within a team and have a strong commitment to continuous      
      improvement principles.
•     Strive to assist the Customer to achieve machine availability and reliability KPI’s
