Field Service Supervisor | Mudgee

WesTrac is expanding our Field Service capability in the Mudgee region and we’re looking for an experienced Field Service Supervisor to lead and support our team of Heavy Diesel Technicians.

If you’re a strong communicator who enjoys problem‑solving, coordinating people, and delivering exceptional customer service, this role offers variety, autonomy and the opportunity to make a real impact across our customer base.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Lead, mentor and support a team of Field Service Technicians

  • Coordinate daily job allocation, scheduling and resource planning

  • Provide technical guidance and support to technicians in the field

  • Maintain strong customer relationships through clear communication and timely updates

  • Ensure safe, high‑quality service delivery across all field activities

  • Monitor job progress, labour efficiency and service quality

  • Work collaboratively with planners, parts, workshop and product support teams

  • Support onboarding, training and development of team members

 

Roster & Benefits

Roster: Monday to Friday

Hours: 10‑hour day shift

Travel: Local travel to customer sites

What You’ll Bring

  • Trade qualification in Heavy Diesel / Mobile Plant (or similar)

  • Strong leadership capability with experience supervising or mentoring technicians

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Strong diagnostics and problem‑solving ability

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment

  • Experience with Caterpillar equipment, SIS/ET or OEM systems (highly regarded)

  • Current driver’s licence
