About the role

Whether you are looking for a new challenge or want to relocate to Mudgee, our team are seeking skilled and qualified Field Service Plant Mechanics to join our growing team.

 

This position will see you reporting to the Field Service Supervisor, supporting our customers in the Western region of NSW, and performing on-site maintenance and repairs on a range of Caterpillar machinery. You will work across multiple top-tier mining sites and alongside a dynamic Field Service team

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Repair, maintain and service CAT machinery to ensure maximum productivity for our customers. 
  • Perform diagnostic assessments on CAT equipment.
  • Liaise with customers and Sales representatives to provide product support and advice.
  • Utilise CAT systems (SIS/ET) and provide information for service reports + warranty claims.
  • Ensuring the safety of yourself and your teammates.

 

Roster and Remuneration 

  • 7x7 Even Time Roster – 12.5-hour shifts
  • Shift Times; 06:00AM to 18:30PM / 18:00PM to 06:30AM
  • Hourly rates UP TO $70.40 + OT $105.60
  • Annual earnings UP TO $155k + Super + OT AND a SERVICE UTE!

What we're looking for

  • Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or Mechanical trade qualification with heavy industry experience
  • Familiar with Caterpillar Equipment
  • Exposure to CAT systems like SIS or ET is highly desirable
  • Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously in the field and in a team
  • Current Drivers Licence
