About the Role  
Reporting directly to the Regional Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring safety, delivering strong financial results, and achieving operational excellence. Your focus will be on fostering a culture of continuous improvement and exceptional customer service. 

In this key leadership role, you’ll guide a dedicated team of tradespeople, customer support specialists, and administrative staff. Your ability to inspire and lead will ensure we consistently exceed service expectations, achieve business targets, and maintain strong, lasting relationships with our valued customers. 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Drive Operational Excellence: Oversee all branch activities, ensuring efficiency and compliance with safety and quality standards. 

  • Deliver Financial Results: Manage P&L, monitor monthly sales and service targets, and implement strategies to achieve organisational goals. 

  • Lead and Inspire: Provide clear direction and support to your team, promoting a values-driven, high-performance culture. 

  • Champion Customer Relationships: Act as the primary escalation point, engage with stakeholders, and conduct regular customer visits to strengthen partnerships. 

  • Optimise Performance: Use data insights to forecast, measure, and improve branch outcomes. 

  • Ensure Workforce Readiness: Oversee scheduling, training, and development to maintain productivity and technical expertise. 

  • Collaborate Statewide: Work closely with internal teams to share resources and deliver seamless customer coverage across NSW/ACT. 

  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement initiatives that enhance efficiency and service delivery. 

  • Based in Mudgee, with occasional travel to Head Office in Tomago and other branches across NSW/ACT. 

 

Skills & Experience 

  • Preferred Qualifications: Tertiary education in Business and/or a mechanical trade background is highly desirable.  

  • Leadership Experience: Proven track record in a leadership role with the ability to inspire and guide teams.  

  • Industry Expertise: Hands-on experience with Caterpillar desirable or similar equipment, coupled with exposure to heavy industry environments.  

  • Commercial Acumen: Strong business insight with demonstrated ability to manage customer relationships, budgets, data analysis, and reporting.  

  • Operational Excellence: Experience in operational roles with a history of driving performance improvements.  

  • Maintenance Planning: Familiarity with short- and long-term maintenance and workshop planning (highly regarded).  

  • Team Leadership: Ability to lead high-performing teams and adapt effectively in dynamic, changing environments.
