About the Opportunity 

We are looking for an accomplished Senior Manager, Corporate Accounts to drive strategic initiatives across our Resource Industries customer portfolio. In this pivotal role, you will design and implement customer strategies that grow market share, enhance margins, and deliver on sales and service objectives in line with our five-year growth plan. You will lead account management activities, champion continuous improvement, and cultivate strong relationships at all levels within the customer organisation. 

Key Accountabilities 

  • Create and oversee strategic plans for the customer segments to achieve market share and margin objectives Ensure optimal customer outcomes through effective account management and drive initiatives that enhance efficiency and value.  

  • Build strong customer partnerships and manage customer contracts, major agreements, market risks and commercial decisions 

  • Oversee customer negotiations, including new machine sales contracts, framework agreements, and other long-term agreements. 

  • Engage with Caterpillar representatives and strengthen partnerships to deliver strategic outcomes 

  • Track and communicate leads to deliver on customer requirements and maximise opportunities. 

  • Provide strategic direction to senior leadership and work closely with site managers and internal teams to ensure fleet performance meets customer needs 

  • Oversee team performance, training, and resourcing to ensure operational excellence.  

 

Skills and Experience 

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Commerce, Business or a Technically related discipline is preferred 

  • Proven experience in major account management that drives customer satisfaction, retention and long-term partnerships 

  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and implement customer contracts, manage market risks and make sound commercial decisions 

  • Experience leading a team, including developing and fostering a high-performance culture 

  • Strategic thinker with ability to build relationships and influence at all levels.  

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and experience driving continuous improvement initiatives create value and efficiencies.  

  • Track record of delivering against KPIS such as market share growth, margin improvement, customer satisfaction, contract compliance and fleet performance metrics. 

  • Problem solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues and make data driven decisions
