The Opportunity

  • Potential earnings $140K-155k+ super guide only 
  • Roster: 5D 2O 5N 2O, M-F | 10-Hour Shifts (no weekends)
  • DAY AND AFTERNOON SHIFT 06:00am-4:30pm and 4.00pm-2.30am

 

With the expansion of our Rebuild and Repair team, WesTrac has an opportunity for an Industrial Painter to join our workshop at Mount Thorley.

Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, the role will see you responsible for preparation and painting using airless or conventional spray units. You will work with a variety of CAT heavy machinery and components, to produce premium quality work for our customers. The successful candidate must have great attention to detail and a safety-first mindset with the ability to work to tight deadlines.

 

Skills and experience

  • Cert III in Automotive Refinishing Technology with post trade experience
  • Current working at heights, MDG25 & Forklift Licence (desirable)
  • Solid experience in the application of industrial coatings with airless spray units
  • Experience working on large-scale heavy equipment desirable
  • Safety first mentality, proficient with modern safety practices
