About the Role
Reporting to the Mining Support Manager, as a Site Performance Specialist, you’ll be essential in helping our mining customers get the most out of their fleet investments. You'll provide technical support, offer advice on equipment optimisation, and analyse fleet performance data to enhance asset performance. This role is based at HVO.

 

Key Responsibilities  

  • Build strong relationships with the customers on site
  • Use fleet performance data to look for ways to improve asset performance
  • Collaborate with customers to resolve unplanned downtime issues
  • Identify sales opportunities and communicate these to the Mining Support Representative for actioning
  • Monitor and review maintenance and operational practices and technology applications that impact machine performance and make recommendations for improvement to optimise TCO
  • Manage product update execution
  • Conduct wear management inspections
  • Generate regular report generation as required
  • Well-developed ability to analyse asset health and performance data and compile reports
  • Understanding of large mining equipment ‘Total Cost of Ownership’ (TCO) and its drivers
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment faults and recommend solutions

 

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Mechanical Trade Certificate
  • Post qualification experience working on Cat equipment is required
  • Familiarity with CAT systems including DBS, SIS, ET, SIMSi and TMI would be highly regarded
  • Current Drivers License – C Class minimum
