Do you have what it takes to be a Field Service Plant Mechanic with WesTrac?

Our Field Service team in Mt Thorley cater to customers throughout the Hunter Valley region, providing them with service and breakdown solutions. Reporting to our Field Service Supervisor, this role will see you travelling between jobs to provide CAT expertise and ensure minimal downtime. With extensive mechanical aptitude and a safety-first approach to everything you do, this role is best suited to those that love to problem solve and spend their days diagnosing faults.

 

Roster & remuneration

  • Lifestyle Roster – working 14/28 days
  • Day shift: 6:30AM - 7:00PM
  • Night shift: 6:30PM - 7:00AM
  • Potential earnings starting from $143,000 + tool of trade vehicle + phone + laptop

*Above rates are a guide; each candidate will be assessed on skill and experience
 

What are we looking for?

  • CERT III Mobile Plant Qualification + Certificate of Proficiency
  • Caterpillar product knowledge and maintenance experience 
  • Excellent diagnostic and repair skills and a strong commitment to service excellence 
  • Excellent attitude to your work, and dedication to safe work practices 
  • Applicants with site bans are ineligible for Field Service Positions
