Field Service Plant Mechanic - Hydraulic Mining Shovels & Excavators

Are you an experienced Plant Mechanic with extensive experience on hydraulic mining shovels or hydraulic mining excavators?

Reporting to the Field Service Supervisor, this role will see you utilising your product knowledge and advanced diagnostic skills to offer high-end support to our customers with service and breakdown solutions. These roles require a high level of autonomy and an ability to problem solve. Our successful candidates will ensure all repairs, preventative maintenance and inspections are completed to Caterpillar standards whilst championing a safety-first approach to everything they do.

Caterpillar 6040, 6060 & 6090 experience advantageous.

 

Roster & Remuneration

  • Monday to Thursday (week one), Tuesday to Friday (week two)
  • 12.5 hour shifts – day shift only
  • Potential earnings from $144,000 - $200,000   
  • Tool of trade vehicle + phone + laptop supplied

*Above rates are a guide; each candidate will be assessed on skill and experience within role

 

Role Requirements 

  • CERT III Mobile Plant Qualification +  Certificate of Proficiency
  • Caterpillar product knowledge and maintenance experience 
  • Excellent diagnostic and repair skills and a strong commitment to service excellence 
  • Excellent attitude to your work, and dedication to safe work practices 
  • Applicants with site bans are ineligible for Field Service Positions
