ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Join our Mt Thorley Rebuilds Workshop and be part of a highly skilled team delivering CAT machine rebuilds to world‑class standards.

* Experience on heavy equipment or an interest in rebuilds/mining is highly regarded*

As part of our rebuild team, you’ll support the full electrical rebuild lifecycle — from strip down through to testing and commissioning — ensuring every machine is delivered safely and performing to OEM standards.

• From $60/hr+ (incl. allowances) + OT from $89/hr (paid on all hours)
• 12.5hr day & night shifts | 5 weeks annual leave – work only half the year on a Lifestyle roster!
• Workshop-based CAT rebuilds | modern facility | stable, experienced team

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Diagnose, repair and rebuild electrical, electronic and control systems on CAT equipment
• Install, test and commission wiring harnesses, sensors, modules and telemetry systems
• Perform fault finding during rebuild and commissioning stages
• Maintain a clean, safe and well‑organised workshop
• Work closely with Supervisors and trades to deliver quality rebuilds on time

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• Australian recognised Auto Electrical Trade Qualification
• Experience across heavy equipment, rebuilds or transferable electrical skillsets
• Strong diagnostics and fault finding capability
• Proactive, safety-first mindset; unrestricted driver’s licence
