Plant Mechanic - Kalgoorlie Residential

Your new role as Plant Mechanic will be based in the Kalgoorlie Branch reporting to the Workshop Supervisor.
Location: Kalgoorlie
Roster: 8 days on, 6 days off 11.5-hour day (Inclusive of 30min meal break)
What you'll do:

Maintaining and repairing Caterpillar products that are brought into the workshop at our Kalgoorlie branch

Carrying out repairs, maintenance and servicing and managing work orders.

Carry out Caterpillar product improvement plans and product support programs whilst maintaining and operating in a safe work environment.
Skills & Experience
-
Australian recognised Heavy-Duty Trade Certificate with post trade experience

Extensive diagnostic and fault-finding skills
-
Ability to work and seek out work opportunities without continuous direct supervision.

Competent in use of DBS and SIS desirable
-
Ability to work effectively within a team and have a strong commitment to continuous improvement principles.

Strive to assist the Customer to achieve machine availability and reliability KPI’s
-
Previous mechanical experience working on Caterpillar products.

Dogging ticket desirable
