Are you passionate about eCommerce, digital systems, and creating seamless online customer experiences?  WesTrac is looking for an enthusiastic eCommerce Specialist to join our Digital Commerce team and help shape the future of our online platforms and integrated procurement systems.

 

Reporting to the Digital Commerce Lead, the eCommerce Specialist will provide technical and administrative support across WesTrac’s eCommerce platforms, including Parts.Cat.com (PCC) and Cat Integrated Procurement (CatIP). You’ll play a key role in maintaining and optimising these platforms, supporting integration projects, and contributing to the advancement of our in‑house AI order solution.

 

This role is perfect for someone who’s technically minded, customer-focused, and excited to grow and develop in a dynamic digital space.

 

 

Location:  South Guildford WA or Tomago NSW

 

Roster:  Mon - Fri 8.5 hours per day (including lunch break)

 

 

What You will do:

 

  • Provide system administration and technical expertise for PCC, CatIP and other eCommerce platforms
  • Support and implement integrated procurement (CatIP) system connections
  • Assist internal and external customers with onboarding, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Liaise with Caterpillar on technical setup and testing of new integrations
  • Support eCommerce project delivery and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Monitor and support the performance of our AI eCommerce solution
  • Assist with developing reporting on key metrics such as time savings and error reduction
  • Collaborate across teams to optimise tools, processes and user experiences

 

About You:

 

You’re analytical, organised, and confident working with multiple systems and stakeholders. You thrive in an environment where no two days are the same and are motivated by problem-solving and delivering great customer outcomes.

 

 

Skills and Experience:

 

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Information Technology, or Information Systems
  • 1–3 years of experience in a similar technical support or eCommerce role
  • Strong experience troubleshooting web browsers, networks, and purchasing functions in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Pronto, JD Edwards highly regarded)
  • Experience with XML or cXML (advantageous)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience in B2B eCommerce, CRM tools, or project management (desirable)
