About the Role

 

The Workshop Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day management and will be responsible for the daily management, leadership, support and mentoring of the WIP Controllers, ensuring a high level of safety focus with actions that support a belief in a zero-harm culture. This role will be offered on a Full Time basis

In addition, there will be a requirement to execute projects with guidance from the Project Manager. This individual will be required to demonstrate effective Leadership whilst being responsible for providing coaching and mentoring to their teams and building and driving a culture that is safe, productive and enjoyable.

 

The role will be available on a Monday - Friday roster based in Guildford working 10hr shifts and 1 Saturday per quarter.

 

ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, offering constructive feedback, and implementing necessary interventions for improvement
  • Uphold adherence to company protocols, standards, and safety protocols
  • Oversee day-to-day activities, encompassing scheduling, inventory oversight, and maintaining superior customer service standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise processes
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive workplace culture that promotes collaboration and personal growth

 

Requirements for the role

  • Extensive experience in Mechanical Supervisory position (Dealership experience is Desireable)
  • Previous experience within a warehouse, parts or distribution environment
  • Caterpillar Systems, Parts and Product knowledge.
  • Advanced time management, planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Have the demonstrated ability to inspire, motivate and lead a team
