Warranty Officer

Reporting into the Warranty Manager, the Warranty Officer will join our team on a Full-Time basis at our Guildford Branch. This role involves being responsible for accurately and promptly processing all Service Department warranty and service letter claims, ensuring maximum cost recovery from Caterpillar.

Roster: Monday – Friday, 8.5 hours/day (including meal break)

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Process warranty claims to maximise recovery from Caterpillar.
  • Submit claims in line with CAT policy to ensure maximum recovery for WesTrac.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CAT claim allocations and administration.
  • Review denied claims for resubmission to achieve the best possible financial outcome.
  • Provide warranty training and support to internal teams, including remote branches.

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in analysing and verifying warranty claims
  • Skilled in work order processing and analysis
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to be assertive when needed
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Excellent organisational skills to manage changing priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience in a Service or Parts role within a customer-facing environment
  • Solid understanding of processes, quality control, and cost efficiency
