Reporting to the Operations Manager - CRC, the Work in Progress (WIP) Supervisor is accountable for leading the CRC WIP coordinators and managing work orders from task acceptance through to invoicing. This role ensures the effective and efficient coordination of work orders, eliminating errors and enabling invoicing within target timeframes. Paramount to the functionality of this position is the requirement to thoroughly understand customer needs and offer solutions that add value to both the customer and WesTrac, thereby ensuring long-term customer relationships.

 

In addition to managing WIP, the role involves providing supervision, leadership, and direction to the team of CRC WIP coordinators, ensuring that safety and quality of work are of the highest standard. Success in this role also depends on collaboration and coordination with key stakeholders in the business to ensure efficient work order management.

 

Location:  South Guildford, WA

Roster: 5/2 8hrs

 

To be successful the following is required: 

  • People management skills
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrated understanding as to the importance of effective Customer Management
  • Experience within a leadership capacity
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to successfully manage fluctuating workloads and prioritise accordingly
  • Highly developed communication skills (interpersonal, written and verbal)
  • Advanced stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to establish and maintain successful working relationships
  • Demonstrated aptitude with the ability to absorb technical information quickly
  • Intermediate computer literacy skills (including Microsoft Office)
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills to enable effective resolution of issues within the workplace and/or customer disputes
  • Ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously
  • Experience in Work order management

Desirable:

  • Completion or attainment towards Certificate IV Frontline Management
  • Previous experience utilising WesTrac and Caterpillar systems
  • CPS Green Belt
