Undercarriage Repairer

Reporting into the Undercarriage Manager, the Undercarriage Component Repairer will join our Undercarriage department on a Full Time basis at our South Guildford Workshop. This role involves disassembling, assessing, and reassembling Caterpillar undercarriage components, as well as operating welding machinery to repair parts, this role involves working 6:00am to 2.30pm and 2:00pm to 10.30pm.

Department Overview: Our Undercarriage Repair Team specialises in the inspection, maintenance, and restoration of critical undercarriage components for Caterpillar heavy machinery and tracked equipment. We deliver end-to-end solutions that enhance durability, traction, and operational efficiency in demanding environments. With a strong emphasis on safety, reliability, and performance, our expert technicians apply precision techniques and industry-leading practices to extend the life of undercarriage systems.

 

 

Roster: 5 On, 2 Off – 2 weeks day shift, 2 weeks afternoon shift – 8hrs/day

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Disassemble, assess and reassemble caterpillar undercarriage components
  • Operate welding machinery to repair components

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Hold Forklift Licence
  • Previous workshop experience preferred
  • Able to follow safety policies and procedures
  • Open to working overtime
