About the Role
As part of our Hydraulics Department, you’ll work closely with experienced tradespeople on a variety of tasks, including forklift operation, sandblasting, painting, equipment preparation, and light mechanical work. This is a fast‑paced, high‑performing workshop where safety, quality, and teamwork come first.

Roster:
- 5 days on / 2 days off
- 2 weeks dayshift / 2 weeks nightshift
- 10 hour shifts
What You’ll Do
- Safely move components using a forklift
- Sandblast hydraulic components
- Paint and shrink‑wrap parts to quality standards
- Assist with maintenance and minor repairs of the sandblast unit
- Clean, prepare, and operate moving components
- Work independently with strong attention to detail
- Promote and contribute to a strong safety culture
What You Bring
- Previous experience as a Trade Assistant
- Forklift licence (essential or willingness to obtain)
- Dogging certification (highly regarded)
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Great communication and the ability to work well in a team
- Experience using safety and risk assessment tools (e.g., JSAs, Take 5s)
