Join WesTrac as a Toolstore Person – Keep Our Operations Moving!

Are you ready to play a pivotal role in supporting one of the world’s leading Caterpillar dealerships? WesTrac is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Toolstore Person to join our dynamic team in South Guildford. This is a permanent full-time position where you’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring our technicians have the tools they need to deliver excellence.

 

About the Role

Our Toolstore is the backbone of our workshops—responsible for storing, maintaining, and renting out specialised tooling essential for mechanical tasks. You’ll also manage consumables like work boots, vests, and ear plugs, keeping our teams equipped and ready.

 

Roster:

  • Monday to Friday, 10.5-hour days (inclusive of meal break)

 

What You’ll Do

  • Maintain and control tooling assets and inventory
  • Order consumables and process purchase orders
  • Schedule tooling calibrations and maintain compliance records
  • Liaise with mechanics and technicians for specific tooling needs
  • Uphold WesTrac’s high standards for safety and contamination control

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience highly regarded
  • Mechanical knowledge or understanding of tooling requirements
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Forklift licence desirable but not essential
