Your new role as a Toolstore person reports into the Toolstore Supervisor in a permanent full-time position with our South Guildford Team.
About the Toolstore
Our Toolstore play a pivotal part in storing, maintaining and renting out various specialised tooling for our technicians that is required to complete various mechanical tasks. The team oversee various consumable items such as work boots, vests and ear plugs where they are cost centred to the departments around the business.
Roster: Monday – Friday – 10.5hr/days (inclusive of a meal break) - every 5th week afternoon shift.
What You’ll Do:
- Maintain and control the departments tooling assets
- Ordering consumable items
- Scheduling tooling calibrations
- Liaising with Mechanics & Technicians with specific tooling requirements – signing in and out of tools
- Inventory control
Skills & Experience:
- Forklift Licence is desirable but not essential
- Outstanding customer service and excellent communication skills.
- Basic administration skills with proficiency on Microsoft office applications is essential
- SAP systems experience
- Mechanical knowledge and / or understanding of Parts or Tooling requirements
- Ability to work in a team and initiative to work autonomously
