Job Title: Technical Manager

 

Reporting to the Group Manager (Client Solutions), the Technical Manager leads a team of Technical Communicators who focus on resolving product issues, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining effective communication between the dealership and Caterpillar.

 

This role involves optimising processes, supporting team growth, and addressing technical challenges. The Technical Manager drives innovative solutions to enhance effectiveness and efficiency within WesTrac.

 

 

Location: South Guildford, WA

Roster: Monday – Friday, 8.5-hour days

 

 

Skills & Experience:

 

  • Qualifications in engineering, trade certification, or related fields.
  • Technical product support experience with the ability to manage teams and drive change effectively.
  • Dealership or similar environment with knowledge of equipment management (desirable - not essential)
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and resolve issues, alongside the proficiency to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Project management exposure utilising methods to align projects with organisational and customer needs.
