Systems and Process Specialist

Reporting to the Learning and Development Manager, the Process and Systems Specialist is responsible for creating systems support materials aligned with employee capability development initiatives, including new starter inductions. Collaborating with key stakeholders, this role acts as the subject matter expert for systems training, while mentoring and leading Super Users to ensure effective knowledge transfer and system adoption.

 

The Process and Systems Specialist provides technical support of WesTrac’s learning management system. This position is responsible for the support, design, development, implementation, delivery, and maintenance of content, assets, and other resources used for instructional functions, ensuring required training is allocated and approved in the system, as well as recording and reporting alongside system integration.

 

 

Location:  South Guildford WA

 

Fixed Term 6 month Contract

 

Roster:  Monday to Friday, 8.5-hour days (Including half-hour meal break)

 

 

What you'll do:

 

  • Develops, manage, and maintain LMS governance, providing advice and guidance to key stakeholders on related issues like business rules, data maintenance, system requirements and enhancements
  • Provides technical support to key stakeholders especially as it pertains to:
    • creating and configuring learning activities, managing enrolments, and producing reports in the LMS
    • identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving online course content issues (SCORM).
  • Develops and maintain LMS and other relevant systems manuals, guides, templates, standards, that are required for training materials and other resources.
  • Provides a consultancy and advice service to key stakeholders wanting to use relevant L&D training systems such as SAP, Power Bi, and LMS to support organisational learning and support the development of their technical knowledge and skills in this space.
  • Works with the P&C Systems team and LMS vendor to schedule and roll out system updates
  • Acts as a leader, mentor, and change agent to grow technology enabled learning management
  • Generates and interprets system reports, generalises findings, and makes recommendations for process and system utilisation improvements.  Additionally, analyses reporting data and recommends strategic direction to P&C, technical managers, or others, as appropriate.

Skills and Experience:

 

  • Tertiary qualification/s in a systems related field, human resource management, or related equivalent experience;
  • Experience in the use, configuration, and administration of an online learning management system
  • Technical knowledge and experience in administering an LMS
  • Ability to work both collaboratively as part of a supportive team as well as independently
  • IT literate including technical and troubleshooting skills with IT systems, e.g. MS Office, learning management systems
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills – suitable for all stakeholder levels internally and externally
  • Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to operate under limited supervision
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Experience working with reporting tools such as PowerBi or Tableau
  • Solutions focused- you must be a natural problem solver with strong analytical abilities
