Specialist Supervisor - Drills

Reporting to the Business Unit Manager, the Specialist Supervisor – Drills will join our Digger & Drill Services team on a permanent, full-time basis at our South Guildford Headquarters.

In this role, you will lead and mentor a team of Drill Technicians, ensuring high standards of performance, safety, and technical excellence. You will provide hands-on technical support while working closely with customers to develop and maintain strong, long-term partnerships built on trust and mutual value.

Location: South Guildford

Roster: Monday to Friday, 10.5 hours per day (including meal break)

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Coach and develop a team supporting surface mining drills across multiple OEMs
  • Oversee machine delivery, aftersales equipment support, warranty repairs, and performance strategies, including major shutdown works
  • Maintain strong customer relationships through varied engagement channels, including site visits
  • Provide hands-on technical support to Drill specialists, technicians and apprentices

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven leadership and people management experience in a supervisory role
  • Demonstrated background in Field Service, with exposure to mine site operations
  • Strong technical aptitude and hands-on experience with drilling equipment
  • Operational drilling experience will be highly regarded
  • Flexible and willing to travel to mine site as required
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Experience working within an OEM dealership environment is advantageous
