SAP Finance Specialist

Reporting to the Finance Systems Manager, the SAP Finance Specialist will join our Finance Department on a full-time, permanent basis at our South Guildford office.

 

This role involves being the central point of contact for SAP functional expertise, supporting Finance, Controlling, Procurement, and integrated processes including Ariba and Concur.

 

Roster: Monday – Friday, 8.5-hour days (including meal break)

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Act as the go-to expert for SAP Finance solution expertise, issue resolution and continuous improvement
  • Drive and prioritise enhancements, issue resolution, and support through planning, development and implementation phases
  • Support and enhance integration between the SAP business suite and other WesTrac business applications
  • Formulate and document business requirements with sound analytical skills to deliver system specifications and solutions
  • Engage effectively with key business stakeholders and vendors to facilitate and drive system resolutions and changes
  • Manage competing priorities with strict deadlines, sharing knowledge within the team
  • Utilise financial acumen to drive continuous improvement and implement impactful projects

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Business, Finance, or a related discipline
  • Previous experience in a similar Systems Accountant or Functional Analyst role with large corporate business solutions
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ERP Finance, Controlling, and Procurement processes
  • Strong experience in implementing and supporting ERP Finance solutions
  • Sound analytical skills to deliver actionable business requirements and system specifications
  • Effective engagement and interpersonal communication skills
  • Team player with a collaborative spirit and a quick learner of new technologies
