Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the Purchasing Officer will join our Procurement team on a permanent basis at our South Guildford location. Department Overview: WesTrac Corporate Division – Finance – Procurement Services – South Guildford Head Office

 

Roster – 5 Days, 8.5 Hrs/Day (including meal break)

 

What You'll Do:

  • Manage Purchase Orders – Raise and process purchase orders accurately and on time.
  • Expedite Supplier Deliveries – Monitor overdue orders and resolve delays.
  • Manage Supplier Performance – Coordinate non-conformance investigations and outcomes.
  • Provide Procurement Support – Respond to purchasing queries and stakeholder requests.
  • Ensure Compliance & Data Integrity – Maintain records and support procurement standards.

 

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Purchasing & Procurement Experience – Experience in purchasing or procurement environments.
  • Systems & Data Management – Proficient in SAP, Ariba and Microsoft Office.
  • Stakeholder & Supplier Engagement – Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Organisation & Problem Solving – Ability to manage priorities and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Attention to Detail & Compliance – Focus on accuracy, process compliance and data integrity.
