Reporting to the Business Unit Manager – Digger & Drill Services, the Project Supervisor will take the lead in shaping and mentoring our team of FIFO Project Technicians. In this pivotal role, you’ll work closely with customers to scope, price, plan, and deliver major Digger and Drill shutdowns, as well as oversee new machine deliveries and relocations. You’ll be the driving force behind safe, efficient, and expertly executed projects, ensuring our teams and customers feel supported every step of the way.

 

Roster:  8 days on 6 days off, 12.5 hours per day (including unpaid meal break)

Location: South Guilford HQ with varied travel across customer project sites

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Exciting opportunity to coach and develop a team to support large mining shovels (>200T) and blast hole drills across multiple OEMs across Western Australia.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement with regular site visits that let you build and foster strong, long‑term customer partnerships.
  • Provide on-site leadership for technicians to ensure safe and on-time execution. 
  • Enjoy the best of both worlds with a role based at our Guildford HQ, combined with travel to key WA sites when your leadership is needed most.

 

Skills and Experience:

 

  • Proven leadership experience, with the confidence and capability to guide, mentor, and motivate a technical team.
  • Background in Field Service or shutdown operations, ideally with hands‑on mine site exposure.
  • Solid technical understanding of Digger and Drill equipment, with the ability to support and advise technicians in the field.
  • Travel to site when needed, embracing the variety and impact that comes with on‑site project leadership.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain strong working relationships across all levels.
  • Experience within an OEM dealership environment is highly regarded.
