Your new role as the Product Support Advisor will report into the Product Support Supervisor in a permanent FIFO position. 

 

About PSG

PSG is a FIFO service department in Welshpool, supporting WA with skilled maintenance personnel. We handle warranty support, shutdowns, and labour hire roles, equipped with service vehicles and tools.
 

Location: McPhee site

 

Roster: 8 days on, 6 days off, 12.5hr shifts (inclusive of 30mins break) OR 2 weeks on, 1 week off, 12.5hrs (Inclusive of 30mins meal break)

 

What you'll do:

  • Carry out diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on customer Caterpillar equipment
  • Maximise operation and product reliability, while also conducting regular equipment inspections
  • Lead by example through actions, behaviour and decision making, including compliance with WesTrac's procedures, safe working practices and life-saving rules.

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Australian recognised Mechanical Trade Certificate
  • Proven post trade experience with CAT equipment
  • Proficiency with troubleshooting and fleet performance reviews.
  • Extensive Traditional Caterpillar Fleet experience is essential
  • Ability to identify and suggest opportunities to increase fleet availability, as well as lower operational costs are positive indicators of success for this role.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain successful working relationships
  • The ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously
  • HR-Licence
