Join our dynamic team as a People and Culture Advisor at WesTrac!

 

Reporting directly to our People and Culture Partner, you'll be the go-to expert for delivering precise and timely support to our valued managers, team members, and internal departments.

 

Your role will involve providing essential training and guidance to our Business Unit Managers, ensuring smooth and efficient team member management. You'll also play a crucial part in maintaining compliance with legislative requirements, industry standards, and our company policies and procedures. Plus, you'll collaborate closely with our People & Culture Business Partners, assisting in managing essential people processes.

 

This is a full-time 12-month fixed-term opportunity located at our Head Office in South Guildford, WA.

 

To be successful the following is required: 

  • Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, or relevant field, or actively undertaking HR studies or AHRI Membership; OR significant industry experience
  • Previous experience in a HR officer or Generalist role with exposure to working with frontline operations
  • Customer-centric approach, driven to deliver results, with a problem-solving mindset and proactively seeks solutions, acquires information independently, and provides effective resolutions
  • Demonstrates attention to detail, excels in multitasking, and prioritises workload
  • Knowledgeable about current employment law legislation
  • Adaptable and flexible approach, capable of thriving in a dynamic environment with strong interpersonal skills for effective communication and stakeholder management at all organisational levels
  • Exceptional grammar, verbal and written communication skills. High attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office, with the ability to quickly learn new systems
