About The Role

 

WesTrac’s NEW HMS & Drill Services business unit is seeking a motivated and experienced Specialist Supervisor to lead and mentor our team of Hydraulic Mining Shovels (HMS) technicians. HMS Supervisor will provide technical support to a team of HMS specialists and technicians, partner with customers to embed the team and build a mutually beneficial long-term relationship.

 

Role Responsibilities

  • Exciting opportunity to coach and develop a team to support large mining shovels (>200T) across multiple OEMs
  • From aftersales equipment support, warranty repairs and equipment performance strategies, to major shutdown works.
  • Regular site visits to build lasting customer relationships
  • HMS Supervisor will provide technical support to a team of HMS specialists and technicians
  • Based out of our Guildford HQ in Guildford will Fly to site as required.
  • Roster 5/2 10.5HRS (Permanent F/T)

 

To be successful the following is required

  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills as a supervisor.
  • Previous experience within Field Service environment as well as mine site experience.
  • Strong Technical Aptitude in Hydraulic Mining Shovel equipment.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel to site as required.
  • Advanced stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to establish and maintain successful working relationships.
  • OEM dealership experience is advantageous.
