Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Manager the Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the Warehouse to ensure daily volume, ongoing performances and business objectives are completed on time, within budget and to the highest safety standard. The Warehouse Supervisor is accountable for leading several Team Leaders across various areas of the Warehouse and undertaking the identification and implementation of strategic and continuous improvement initiatives within the Warehouse and drives the acceptance of change, whilst ensuring engagement of team members regarding the change.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Focus: Dedicated to providing high-quality customer service and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Timeliness: Proven ability to ensure project timelines are met consistently.
  • KPI Management: Skilled in managing and achieving key performance indicators.
  • Team Leadership: Minimum 10 years of experience in Logistics and/or Warehouse Operations, including at least 5 years leading a mid-large workforce (50-100 employees).
  • Safety Standards: Excellent knowledge of WHS (Workplace Health and Safety) Legislation and Safety Systems (COR), with demonstrated applications within a warehouse environment.
  • Warehouse Experience: Preference for candidates with extensive experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Committed to identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Roster: 5:2 8.5H

 

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Warehousing & Logistics (preferred but not essential).
  • Strong knowledge of current warehouse management systems and Lean Warehousing Principles.

 

Previous experience we find successful in the role:

  • Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement, particularly in enhancing culture, building teams, and boosting morale.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with individuals at all levels through written, verbal, and interpersonal means.
  • Excellent planning and organizing skills with the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in similar organisations will be highly regarded.
