Reporting into the Warehouse Supervisor, the Hose builder will join our Parts Distribution Centre on a Full-time basis at our Guildford location. This role involves cutting, building and quality checking hydraulic hoses for Caterpillar equipment.


Parts Distribution Centre (PDC)
Our 24/7 PDC holds 75K Cat® product lines, shipping 300K lines/month. We use the DEMATIC system for 18K+ small parts, and provide rack and yard storage, hose-building, parts inspection, pick-packing, and customer pickups with multiple WMS for accurate deliveries.


Roster: Wednesday to Saturday, every second Wednesday Off, Nights - 12 Hour Shift (including meal break)


What You’ll Do:

  • Cutting of hydraulic hoses
  • Pushing couplings onto cut hose lengths, and building of hydraulic hose
  • Use and maintaining of hydraulic presses and crimping machines
  • Capping and tagging hoses for dispatch

Skills & Experience:

  • Good manual handling techniques
  • Ability to work in a team and autonomously with effective communication skills
  • Computer literacy – including MS Suite
  • Positive attitude with great attention to detail
  • Previous experience working night shift (desired)
  • Warehousing experience (desired)
