Reporting into the Warehouse Supervisor – Inventory Control, the Store person, will join our Inventory Control team on a Permanent Fulltime basis at our Guildford location. This role involves completing daily tasks such as picking and packing customer orders, Radio Frequency (RF) scanning, forklift operating and processing customer order data into the Warehouse Management Systems.


Department Overview: Parts Distribution Centre (PDC)
Our 24/7 PDC holds 75K Cat® product lines, shipping 300K lines/month. We use the DEMATIC system for 18K+ small parts, and provide rack and yard storage, hose-building, parts inspection, pick-packing, and customer pickups with multiple WMS for accurate deliveries.

 


Roster: Monday - Friday 8.5 hours/ day (including meal break)


What You’ll Do:

  • Inventory management
  • Stock rotation/relocation
  • Warehouse set-up and projects
  • General system problem solving and troubleshooting
  • Process efficiency reviews

 


Skills & Experience:

  • Forklift Licence and Experience
  • Previous experience in a similar role will guide you to success
  • Positive attitude with great attention to detail
  • Computer literacy - inclusive of MS Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working with SAP (Desirable)
  • Customer service experience (Desirable)
