Our supportive and inclusive team at WesTrac’s Parts Distribution Centre is seeking a committed Storeperson to join the team.
 

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the dedicated role of Storeperson or Hosebuilder will be responsible for daily tasks such as picking and packing customer orders, Radio Frequency (RF) scanning, forklift operating, manufacturing hydraulic hoses and processing customer order data into the Warehouse Management Systems.  

As the Storepeson, you will also work collaboratively with your team to ensure the workplace always remains safe for all team members.


Roster Options:

Mon-Fri - 3pm-12am 

Wed-Sat - 6pm-6am 

Sun-Wed - 6pm-6am

Sun-Thurs - 9pm-6am 

Mon-Fri - 6am-3pm

Wed-Sat - 6am-6pm 

Sun-Wed - 6am-6pm


To be successful the following is required: 

  • Forklift Ticket (LF) OR Order Picker (LO), and/or Reach Truck experience    
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Ability to quickly learn in-house software and IT systems
  • Customer service skills – Previous experience liaising with customers and handling customer enquiries seen as advantageous
  • Be well aligned and exhibit WesTrac’s core values of Safety, Pride, Accountability, Respect and Customer
  • Experience using racking equipment from 2.5T to 9T
  • Previous experience using Microsoft packages (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
