Storeperson - Forklift Operation - Night Shift

Reporting into the Warehouse Supervisor the Store person will join our Parts Distribution Centre on a Fulltime basis at our Guildford Location. This role involves consolidating parts from all over the warehouse into a group order for our internal customers in the workshop bays. This includes manual handling, customer service and delivering the parts to internal customers via a buggy or forklift.

About Parts Distribution Warehouse (PDC)

Our 24/7 PDC holds 75K Cat® product lines, shipping 300K lines/month. We use the DEMATIC system for 18K+ small parts, and provide rack and yard storage, hose-building, parts inspection, REMAN, pick-packing, and customer pickups with multiple Warehouse Management Systems for accurate deliveries.

Roster: Sunday to Wednesday, nights, 12 Hours per shift (including meal break)

 

What You’ll Do:

  • General Warehousing duties
  • Picking and/or packing
  • Usage of Radio Frequency Scanners
  • Daily buggy and forklift operation

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Forklift Licence and experience
  • Strong attention to detail and safety
  • Experience using RF Scanner
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good manual handling techniques
  • Ability to quickly learn in-house software and IT systems
  • Previous experience working night shift (desired)
