Senior Finance Business Partner

Reporting into the Commercial Manager WA, The Senior Finance Business Partner is responsible for partnering with the Service Operation business units (and affiliated support functions) to provide financial insight and advice, supporting internal stakeholders to achieve Westrac’s short and long term plans through the provision of critical insight and business process optimisation recommendations.

 

 

Roster:  Mon – Fri 8.5 hours per day (including unpaid meal breaks)

Location: South Guildford (PDC), WA

 

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Partner with Operations and Sales leadership to deliver financial insight and support strategic decision-making
  • Provide commercial modelling and analysis to guide short and long-term operational initiatives
  • Lead oversight of key service labour metrics, including realised service rates, labour costs, and efficiency reporting
  • Collaborate with the Management Accountant to compile annual budgets and periodic forecasts for Service Operations
  • Analyse and interpret month-end financial results, preparing reports for senior stakeholders
  • Support business optimisation initiatives by partnering with process owners across the organisation
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence

 

 

Skills and Experience:

 

  • Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Accounting, or related field, with CA/CPA certification
  • 10+ years’ post-qualification experience, including business partnering in large, complex organisations
  • Advanced Excel proficiency and strong capability in analysing high-volume, multi-source data
  • Prior experience with SAP and deep understanding of system hierarchies and data structures
  • Exceptional attention to detail with proven ability to apply commercial acumen to financial reporting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex operational and financial issues
  • Demonstrated success in driving operational excellence and leading change initiatives
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence cross-functionally and work both independently and collaboratively
