Sales Operations Lead

Reporting into Parts Sales Manager, the Sales Operations Lead will join our team on a Full-Time basis at our Guildford Customer Service Centre. This brand-new role is responsible for Forecasting, Capacity and Long-Term planning of kitting Supply Solutions. The role also manages market opportunities, facilitating the set up and procurement of new solutions for customers. It focuses on establishing new business processes, driving continuous improvements and managing the customer and business outcomes to grow the Kitting business for WesTrac.

 

Roster: Monday – Friday, 8.5 hours/day (including meal break)

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Act as the key escalation point for revenue growth, customer issue resolution and delivery challenges, while driving continuous improvement across kitting operations.
  • Partner with Planning, Inventory and Warehouse teams to use demand and capacity insights to shape container pool size, kit composition and customer engagement plans.
  • Oversee parts list development, kit staging, pricing and cost recovery to ensure commercial success of the kitting portfolio.
  • Build and maintain effective work methods and reporting tools that support seamless warehouse allocation and alignment on required and estimated ship dates.
  • Lead the Parts Expediting function, providing recommendations on air freight, alternative sourcing and internal approvals to keep customer orders on track.
  • Manage New Product Introduction for new kit solutions, ensuring timely integration into the product pool.
  • Develop clear warehouse build and qualitycheck documentation to support consistent, highquality kit delivery.

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in customer facing roles (preferred)
  • Strong MS Project and Excel capability (intermediate level).
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proven customer service skills with the ability to build strong working relationships.
  • Experience in process improvement and change management.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads and lead teams toward clear goals and KPIs.
