Product Planning Analyst
Guildford PDC, WA, AU
Reporting to the Component Planning Supervisor, the Product Planning Analyst will join our Guildford Parts Exchange team on a full-time basis. This role will maintain accurate reporting of inventory records, review and approve work order costings in collaboration with internal teams and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Your focus will be on ensuring accuracy, timely processing, and supporting operational excellence within KPI targets.
Roster: Monday – Friday, 8.5 hours/day (including meal break)
What You’ll Do:
- Review and approve internal workorder costing and variations prior to invoicing
- Provide service solutions and options in consultation with the workshop and/or Sales team
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure department cost centre meets and/or exceeds service metrics.
- Provide and maintain reports to ensure job progress, scope and expected completion times and/or dates are clearly understood and invoiced within required company KPI target timeframes.
- Maintain stock adjustment register/audit trail on a frequent basis to maintain accuracy on ELT reporting.
- Monitor component storage, movement and upkeep to minimise damage and/or loss
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Component Planning team, promoting efficiency and best practices.
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience within a supply chain/inventory planning team within a medium to large organisation with exposure to planning for multiple inventory scenarios and demonstrated knowledge of heavy equipment components
- Intermediate planning skills with the ability to engage multiple stakeholders and maintain effective relationships
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to successfully manage fluctuating workloads and prioritise accordingly
- Clear and confident communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal)
- Strong analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills with the ability to interpret and present data to Supervisor/team and make recommendations based on the content.
- High level attention to detail with the ability to absorb technical information quickly
- Ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously as required.
- Advanced computer literacy skills (desirable)
- Caterpillar product knowledge (desirable)
